Fresh Matjes
Got some Matjeshering. Arrived cold and fresh. Good taste. Delivery was quick enough. No problems with the order. Would buy again.
Good quality, delivery took a while
I ordered some Räucherlachs and Forellenfilets from Fiedlers Fischmarkt last month. The ordering process on their website was straightforward enough, no real issues there. It took 7 days for the package to arrive in Florida, which felt a bit long for fresh food, even with international shipping. Everything was well-packed in a cooler box with ice packs, and the fish was still very cold when it got here. The Räucherlachs was excellent, really nice flavor and texture. The Forellenfilets were also good, though not quite as smoky as I expected. I had a question about storage, so I emailed support; they replied within 24 hours, which was helpful. Overall, happy with the quality, just plan for a longer delivery time.
Decent Fischfrikadellen
Bought some Fischfrikadellen and a jar of Heringssalat. The website was easy to navigate. Shipping to New York took about 6 days. Everything was packed securely, no leaks or anything. The frikadellen were tasty, held together well when cooked. The Heringssalat was okay, not my favorite style but still decent. I thought the shipping cost was a little high, but it's understandable for perishable goods from Germany. Quality was good for what I paid. I might try their Stremellachs next time.
